Hand-Knotted Persian-Inspired Area Rug

A hand-knotted, Persian-inspired area rug. This low pile rug has a central blue lozenge with green and red floral medallions and palmettes, inside of a larger red lozenge with a similar floral motif. Outside of the main pattern, stacked borders contain more floral patterns including boteh. The outermost edge is a solid band of red-orange with natural warp fringe to either end.
