An oil painting on canvas of three apples, by artist P. Matt. This painterly still life depicts a trio of apples, two with leaves curling from their stems, on a neutral scumbled background. The fruit is captured in a warm overhead light in tones of red and orange, and is set closely together. This work is signed P. Matt in white paint to the lower right corner, and is presented is a stained wood frame with a wire for hanging.
