A limited edition 1997 Walt Disney serigraph cel mounted to an offset lithograph on paper. The piece, titled Silly Old Bear, is a reproduction image of Scene 308 from the 1966 Disney cartoon Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree. It depicts Pooh clutching a blue balloon during his ‘Little Black Raincloud’ song. The cel is noted in plate to the lower right as being part of an edition of 5000; it also includes an in-plate seal that reads ‘The Walt Disney Company, Sericel, Certified’. The print is double matted in white and light blue with Pooh’s ‘Hunny’ pot printed in the mat to the lower right. It is presented under plexiglass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. The frame backing includes a certificate of authenticity from Disney Enterprises, Inc. with information about the print and edition.
