A set of four reproductions of engraved book illustrations titled Little Lord Fauntleroy and his Grandfather, In a Stampede, and two different prints both titled Winchester Cathedral: The Retrochoir, after artists R.B. Birch (1856-1943), Frederic Remington ( 1861-1909), and Joseph Pennell (1857-1926), respectively. The first of these illustrations depicts a child Lord Fauntleroy tugging on his grandfather’s jacket as a dog watches on, the second depicts a man on horseback riding fast and hard in front of a stampede of cattle, and the final two show two architectural illustrations of Winchester Cathedral interiors. All four are signed in plate by the artist with the title and artist’s name printed to the lower center margin. They are all presented behind glass in frames with folding stands.

Condition

- chips to corners and scratches to black frames, scuffs to wood frame with gold tone trim; Remington piece backing held in with tape.

- measures largest frame; smallest frame measures: 6.0" W x 8.0" H.
