A Chinese or Japanese hanging scroll on gouache painting on silk. The lovely work depicts a solitary song bird flying above plum blossoms rendered in a rich shade of crimson. The work is signed and sealed ‘祜屯’ along the right edge. The work is mounted as a hanging scroll on celadon green silk brocade with bone knobs. Comes with wooden box.
