Item Details
A gouache painting on mottled tan and brown parchment style paper. The piece depicts four birds happily roosting in a flowering tree. The unsigned work is rendered in a palette of blue and white, accented with black undertones; it is similar in style to Egyptian tree of life paintings on papyrus. The painting is matted in blue and presented under glass in a wooden frame with a sawtooth hanger to the verso.
