Item Details
A vintage handwoven Moroccan wool area rug. This rug features a series of dark red and blue fields with central rectilinear medallions surrounded by geometric shapes in shades of garnet, bright blue, black, cream, and ochre. The compound border has a densely patterned field of geometrics in a complementary palette of warm vegetable colors. The rug is bordered on either side with a long cream colored fringe. Marked ‘Courante Morocco’ to the back.
