A 1994 reproduction print on paper after a circa 1909 Titanic poster illustration by artist P.C. Fussey. The piece depicts the infamous ocean liner sailing into port with an eager crowd waiting to meet the ship. The original work was an advertising poster for routes from England to the United States; it includes notations of ‘Titanic, White Star Line, The World’s Largest Liner’ in large black and white print to the top, with ‘Southampton ~ New York Via Cherbourg and Queenstown’ printed in yellow to the bottom. It is signed in plate to the lower right and noted to the lower margin with ‘Marine Art Posters, Hull, U.K. 1994’. The print is mounted to a wooden framework with a sawtooth hanger affixed to the verso.
