A woodcut print on paper titled ‘Boy With Bird’ by American artist Mervin Jules (1912-1994). This black and white print is portrait oriented and depicts a boy’s face in profile on the right. On the left, the boy is holding a bird up and looking it in the eyes as it perches on his finger. The print is titled to the lower left, signed in graphite by hand to the lower right corner, and marked as a proof. It is presented behind a mat and glass in a thin metal frame that is wired for hanging.
