A handwoven Anatolian style area rug. The rug features a central medallion in a palette of deep blue, cream, yellow, and deep red that sits on top of an off white field with a spandrel to each corner. The field is populated by floral guls and abstract elements in a complementary palette. The field is enclosed by a turtle border with a deep red background and the rug has an overcast edge with a wool fringe to either end. Unmarked.
