A pair of mixed media pieces by Yuichi Taniguchi. These abstract compositions are made with cast paper in a vertical gradient of pink, to white, to blue with cut out striped sections revealing glass that has been etched with a grid pattern. A third layer of glass with etched design over the paper completes the pieces. They are almost exact mirror images of each other when placed side by side. Both are signed to a lower corner by the artist and dated ‘’85’. Labels to the verso state the artist and media, as well as calling the pieces Untitled. They are both presented behind a mat and glass in metal frames.
