19th Century French Pressed Fruitwood Commemorative Snuff Box

A 19th century French pressed fruitwood snuff box in burr maple with a tortoise lining featuring a commemorative statue of horse and rider. French verbiage at the rim and the bottom reads Seul Roi De Qui Le Pauvre Ait Conserve La memoire. The back is pressed in a basket weave pattern.
