A lithograph on paper of an original painting titled A Stolen Kiss by French artist Gaston Charpentier-Bosio. This print depicts a couple embracing in the background while a older woman sits in a chair sleeping. Mounted under a single layer of black matting, the print is presented under glass in a black painted wood frame. A wire for hanging purposes is present to the verso of the frame. The original painting was displayed at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair (The World’s Columbian Exposition).

Condition

- frame is worn and chipped in multiple places; glass would benefit from a thorough cleaning.
