A watercolor painting on paper titled Buffalo by listed American artist Orlando Vincent Schubert (1844-1928), executed in 1880. Depicted is a ship cruising down a murky waterway. The ominous sky above casts a grey tone and feeling throughout the composition. Signed and dated in paint to the lower left. Signed in graphite to the lower right as well. Presented with a white and black double mat, behind glass, housed in a textured, gilt wood frame.
