Item Details
An oil painting on canvas of a hunting scene by B. Catin. Portrayed with textural impasto and loose brushstrokes, this impressionistic work features two men hunting for birds in a grassy field with their hunting dog. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is presented in a dark brown wood frame with a gilt liner featuring a wavy relief pattern. Some stamps and labels are present to the verso.

- chip present along interior edge of frame, colored with black marker; wear throughout frame including scratches, small chips, stains, and discoloration; discoloration throughout gilt liner.
