Early 19th Century French Tortoise Etui
Item Details
An early 19th century French Tortoise shell etui with a silver overlay design along the body. The tiny push button clasp opens the lid to reveal six small compartments where ‘necessary’ personal items were stored. Alas, only two are present, a glass bottle and a tortoise sheathed blade.
