A Japanese woodblock on paper after an original print by Asada Benji (1900-1984) titled Moon at Kiyomizu Temple. Depicted is the pagoda and several shops within the temple grounds. A few figures work around the compound holding umbrellas. A large full moon is rendered in the sky above casting a glow onto the buildings This piece is signed in plate to the upper right. Below the image is the name ‘Uchida’ possibly a publisher located in Kyoto, Japan. Presented behind glass float mounted in a wooden bamboo motif frame.
Condition
- minor wear is present to the frame; edges of paper are worn.
