Item Details

A mid 19th-century French sterling silver tastevin with inset Louis Philippe I 1838 5-Franc coin to the bottom. The circular handle also appears to have been impressed with hallmarks, although illegible. The total approximate weight of the cup is 3.76 ozt including the 5-Franc coin.
