Japanese Woven Bamboo Trinket Box With Tassel
Item Details
A small Japanese trinket box comprised of woven bamboo and wood. The top and bottom of the small case are made of tightly woven bamboo or rattan. The sides are wrapped with slats of stained bamboo or wood, held in place by thin ties of bamboo. Two handles are affixed to the sides and the front features a metal clasp. A twin cream and burgundy tassel is tied to one of the handles. Unmarked.

- slight staining to tassel, one slat of bamboo on the side has come loose.
