19th Cent. Porcelain Framed Plaque After Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun

A late 19th century KPM style hand painted porcelain plaque after a self portrait of Élisabeth Vigée Le Brun (French, 1755-1842) and her daughter, 1789. The painted porcelain plaque, illustrating a mother and young daughter embracing is signed ‘Keidel’ in the lower right corner and is presented in a carved openwork scrolled gold gilt frame. An old label affixed to the back reads From Wunderly Bros. Fine Art Dealers, Pittsburg, PA.

Condition

Both the porcelain plaque and the carved frame are in very good condition.

The porcelain plaque measures 4.5″ × 3″.
