Early 1900s Torsion Company Medical Table Scale

An antique early 1900s Torsion Company medical table scale. Enclosed in an oak wood case with glass top, this balance scale exhibits typical age wear. The scale has a metal plaque attached that identifies the model number ‘B76332’ and style number ‘272.’ The capacity for this scale is ‘120 G Glass A.’ The original metal screws for mounting to any table are retained. Manufactured by Torsion Scales New York City, New York, this scale also has two ‘City Of Cincinnati Department Of Safety’ yellow and green colored examined and sealed stamps attached.
Condition
Good-Fair Condition. The oak case depicts normal age wear with nicks. The hardware is enclosed but not sure if it is complete. Did not inspect for working order. Please note, one of the glass side panels is cracked.
