Item Details
A watercolor and gouache painting on paper of an open house. This painting depicts a wooden house that is surrounded by patches of dirt and fixtures including a ground well, various wooden benches and chairs, as well as beds. It is presented under glass beneath layered matting, which has been excised to the lower right corner to reveal an illegible signature. This is presented in a stained wooden frame featuring carved wood grain texture and a moulded, bead pattern in a black tone. To the verso is affixed hanging wire.
Condition
- glass could benefit from cleaning; wear to paper backing.
