An original acrylic painting on canvas by contemporary Cincinnati-based artist Robbie Kemper (born 1957), titled Warms with Diagonals, circa 2010. The painting, executed with a strong Abstract Expressionist aesthetic, depicts an energetic, non-objective composition of saturated ochre and burnt sienna pigments layered and flung onto a field of fleshy brown, red and peach. Artist signature is signed to the lower left. This piece is not framed. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
