An original acrylic painting on unstretched canvas by contemporary American artist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, Ohio; born 1957), titled Green and Yellow Landscape. The painting depicts a striated landscape in shades of yellow and green, painted in looping painterly strokes of thickly-applied paint. The painting is signed to the lower left, and ‘54 × 20’ is written in black to the upper right margin. A white margin surrounds the painting, and could easily be covered by stretching or matting/framing. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
