An original large abstract acrylic painting with pastel accents on canvas by contemporary American artist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, Ohio; born 1957), titled Blue Square. The painting a hectic composition made of semi-translucent layered fields of bright blue, pink, and green paint. A blue square is drawn in pastel to the lower left, emerging from the chaos. The painting is signed to the lower left. It is presented without matting or framing, but is ready to hang. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
