An original large abstract acrylic painting on canvas by contemporary American artist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, Ohio; born 1957), titled Grays with Blue Black Orange. The nondescript image depicts aggressive strokes of black, gray, pale blue, and scarlet paint across the composition. The veiwer’s eye is drawn towards a large charcoal gray rectangle to the left margin. The painting is signed to the lower left. It is presented without matting or framing, but is ready to hang. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
