An assortment of East Asian art and decor. Featured is a colorful Chinese embroidered textile scene depicting the ‘one hundred boys’ theme, with several participating in dragon dance rituals (舞龙). The work is bordered in taupe patterned fabric and presented under glass in a copper tone metal frame with hanging wire to the verso. Also included is a framed selection of three miniature Japanese hand fans. The fans feature floral designs in red, gold tone, green, white and blue. They are set over a black background and presented under glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- some wear to frames; light wrinkling to textile inside frame; small spots to textile; frames would benefit from light cleaning.
