A vintage Wedgwood black basalt trinket box. This rectangular black basalt trinket box features a lid accented with two gold tone alligators and scrolled details. The motif to the top of the lid commemorates Horatio Nelson’s victory in the battle of the Nile, 1798. The piece is marked to the underside ‘Wedgwood, made in England.’
