A power-loomed Plateau area rug by Oriental Weavers of America. This American-made Olefin rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, ivory, sage, and tan. It features a Savonnerie-style design with a large floral medallion over an open crimson field. Framing the field is a wide, broken border featuring scrolling acanthus, flowers, and leaves over sage and ivory. Edges are serged on all sides. The rug is labeled on the reverse.
