A watercolor and gouache painting on board of an autumnal landscape by American artist Louis C. Pedlar (1884-1953), created in 1942. Portrayed with dabs of color, this impressionistic work features a rocky creek surrounded by foliage and a forest of autumnal trees. The painting is signed and dated in ink to the lower right; it is presented under glass in a tan wood frame.
