Item Details

An antique Renaissance Revival style needle point upholstered arm chair, c. 1890. This chair features a straight crest rail with needle point upholstered rectangular back panel and barley twist arms with lion handholds rising on a single support. The square seat is upholstered and rises on turned legs joined by stretchers and terminating on ball feet. This piece features a fruit and floral pattern needle point upholstery. There are no visible maker’s marks. For matching side chairs, see item 17LOU097-087.
