Serpentine Table With Floral Motif Marquetry Top

A serpentine table with a floral motif marquetry top. The apron on each side of the table features an ornate carving of lattice covered with flowers surrounding an angel. The four cabriole style legs are embellished with carved detail of acanthus. To the top is a marquetry design of varying shades of wood in floral design, mirrored on each side and separated with a long, bisecting scroll. A fitted piece of glass protects the top.
