A hand painted Popeye animation cel titled Wimpy’s Cafe, signed by animator Myron Waldman. It depicts Popeye and Olive Oil dancing as Wimpy eats a hamburger at a table behind them. The piece is hand numbered ‘AP [artist’s proof] 32/25’, as well as hand signed by Myron Waldman (1908-2006), a noted animator who worked on Betty Boop, Popeye, Superman, and numerous other cartoons over the course of five decades. The art comes in a protective plastic sleeve with a King Features certificate of authenticity.
