A 1966 oil painting on canvas by Manrai. The piece depicts a female nude kneeling in a beach setting. The figure is shown with her head bent backward and arms raised to cover her face, as pink clouds bisect an otherworldly pink and cream sky behind her. The piece is signed in grey paint to the lower left. It is presented without glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- wear to lower edge of canvas with some paint loss present; slight edge wear to frame; minor residue to painting; water stains and small holes to frame’s backing paper.
