A hand knotted Persian Malayer Sarouk area rug. The rug features a lobed round medallion in cream, black, blush, and blue over a scarlet colored field. The field displays an overall herati pattern in a matching color scheme. Lobed spandrels stand at each corner of the field, as a meandering vine and flower border with black ground surrounds the rug. The piece is finished with a cropped cotton fringe.
