An oil on canvas copy painting after the original titled Gimcrack by English equestrian painter George Stubbs (1724-1806). This depicts a man, dressed in a yellow frock coat, holding the reigns of the white racing horse Gimcrack, who stands in profile with exaggerated musculature. No discernible signature could be found. This work is presented in a gold tone wooden frame, wired for hanging.
