A watercolor painting on paper of royal guards on horseback. This painting depicts two guards wearing red uniform jackets and yellow plumed helmets. Royal guards are usually seen riding horses as part of a ceremonial entrance. This painting is initialed ‘SF’ by hand to the lower left corner. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with a metal hanging wire to the verso.
