A J&G Alcock flow blue transferware serving bowl in the Pompeii pattern. The bowl is formed of Staffordshire china made in England and features a glazed white background with an intricate blue floral design. The center of the bowl depicts two Classical style urns amidst cobalt flowers. The edges of the bowl are scalloped. The bowl is marked to underside, ‘J&G Alcock, Cobridge, Pompeii’.
