A woodblock print on paper, titled Lake Shōji, by Japanese artist Kawase Hasui (1883-1957). This work depicts a view of a still, reflective lake, split in half by a tree-covered coastline and backed by an atmospheric view of Mount Fuji. This print has a line of text to the lower left edge, along with an artist’s signature stamp and what appears to be a printer’s stamp. This print is triple matted behind glass in a textured gold tone frame with a wire for hanging and a short essay on the artist to the verso.
