French Enameled Chalice and Holy Water Font
Item Details
A French enameled chalice and wooden holy water font. The brass-tone chalice features red enameling to the bowl and foot, being engraved ‘Sanguinis Mei + Hic Est Enim Calix’ to the outer rim and ‘St. James Altar Society 1965 Made in France’ to the base. The brass tone metal framed holy water font is comprised of mahogany with a silver plated medallion of Christ over a clear glass font. Unmarked.
Condition
to Fair – the chalice has tarnish, scratching and wear to metal surfaces; the holy water font has wear to the silver plated medallion.
