A pairing of sterling silver utensils. This includes an 1856 spoon by A B Savory & Sons, that features pointed shoulders, a narrow stem, and a bordered fiddle handle. It is marked underneath with the four hallmarks of London, sterling, and 1856, as well as a maker’s mark of ‘WS’ in a beveled edge cartouche for the manager William Smily. This is paired with a lozenge handled Mary Chilton gravy ladle by Towle Silversmiths. The total approximate weight is 2.400 ozt.
