Assorted Weighted Sterling Compotes, Candlesticks and Shakers
Item Details
An assortment of weighted sterling compotes, candlesticks, and a pair of shakers. This selection includes two pairs of candlesticks, one taller pair with a tapered stem, and one smaller pair with an upturned bell shaped sconce; one pair is marked ‘Towle Sterling Weighted & Reinforced’ and the other ‘Gift America Sterling Weighted & Reinforced’. Also included are a pair of shakers marked ‘Empire Sterling Weighted’, and three compote dishes, two with pierced rims, and one with a gadroon lip. The compotes were produced by Alvin and Farmington.
Condition
- light to moderate tarnish throughout, wax residue, scratches, etc; wear consistent with age and prior use; one compote broken at stem.
