Late 19th Century Dutch Psalm Book with 14K Gold Clasp

A late 19th century Dutch psalm book has a 14K gold clasp. The page before the first psalm is pencil inscribed, ’ Gethseminane 1966’ and there is a small pressed olive leaf below. The book is bound in leather with embossed interior along the facedown and two ribbon place markers. . Printed in the Dutch language, published in Amsterdam 1875.

Condition

Beneath the gold clasp and under the flap when opened, the leather is a few shades darker than the back and front of the book.
