Pair of Alva Museum Replicas Bronze-Toned Plaster Bookends

Item Details

A pair of bronze-toned, plaster molded lion form bookends by Alva Museum Replicas, produced in 1980. The lions are inspired by the stately lion statues by Edward Kemeys (American, 1843-1907) that flank the museum entrance at the Chicago Institute of Art. The lions appear on wood stands and are marked to the tail ends as ‘80 Alva.’
