1951 Centenary Singer Sewing Machine

A 1951 Singer Manufacturing Co. sewing machine with lift up wood base. This sewing machine was specially commissioned to celebrate the centenary of Singer (1851-1951) and features a commemorative oval plaque with the Singer emblem. The plaque reads, ‘A Century of Sewing Service 1851-1951.’ The machine is model number AK189836. the machine sits atop a wood base with compartment to the side and underneath the machine when lifted.
EBTH certifies this item is from the private collection of personal property formerly owned by Dr. Robert H. Schuller.

- normal use and wear present throughout; some gilt loss in the lettering; untested for working condition.
