Power-Loomed Oriental Weavers "Sphinx" Runner

A power-loomed Sphinx runner by Oriental Weavers. This Egyptian-made polypropylene rug is rendered in a palette of plum, olive, cornsilk, and cream. It features a Persian-inspired design of palmettes, flowers, leaves, and vines over a plum-colored field. Framing the field are four borders, including a primary herati border with meandering palmettes and lancet leaves over cornsilk, and an outer guard border in plum. Edges are overcast on all sides. The rug is labeled on the reverse.
