A hand-painted Hohokam ceramic water vessel produced by Kopa Pottery. This jug depicts a squat, flattened base with an elongated shaft, pinched lip and connected handle. The surface is glazed glossy black, drawn in mold and painted in a palette of mint green, cream, black and orange to render stylized motifs of animals. To the underside is painted manufacturer information. The work is accompanied by a folded piece of paper that serves as a statement from Kopa Pottery.
