Vintage L.C. Smith 8-10 typewriter

A vintage L.C. Smith model 8-10 inch platen typewriter. The L.C. Smith No. 8 began its production in 1915 and ended its production in 1936. While this says ‘L.C. Smith’ above the platen in white text, one can see that it says ‘L.C. Smith &Corona Typewriters INC.’ on the front, due to the merge between the two companies that occurred in 1926. This is one of their earlier models due to the open sides. Their is some loss and fading of decals, and one can find rust in various locations through out.

Condition

- paint has chip away and rust is showing on front under keys
- gold print on front has faded
