An R. John Wright limited edition doll titled Jemima Puddle Duck from the Beatrix Potter Collection. In 2000, the R. John Wright Doll Company introduced a limited edition series commemorating the charming animal characters made famous by author and artist Beatrix Potter at the turn of the twentieth century. Each doll is individually numbered and stored in a sturdy box adorned with a color reprint of a drawing from the original series. Jemima Puddle Duck is made of plush alpaca and wool felting and features a jointed neck and moveable wings. She wears a blue bonnet and a paisley print shawl with hand-knotted fringe. Numbered 0627/1500, this doll is stored in the original packaging with the original paperwork including a certificate of authenticity.
