An early 20th-century (c. 1917–18) KPM porcelain figurine Madonna with Child with hand painted decoration. This figurine was modeled in 1917 by Prof. Paul Schley, KPM’s Chief Modeler. Depicted is the Virgin Mary adorned with floral pattern blue mantle and a striped pink and gold dress and the infant Christ in her arms. They appear atop a pedestal base. To the underside is a red KPM mark, a cobalt mark, and a black iron cross mark. There is also faint impressions reading as ‘Masse C4.’
EBTH certifies this item is from the private collection of personal property formerly owned by Dr. Robert H. Schuller.
